LDNPA: Call for Sites

Posted 14 April 2017

To assist with identifying new development sites, the LDNPA are carrying out a call for sites exercise to invite sites within the National Park that may have potential for development over the next 15 year plan period.  This is the opportunity for parish councils, neighbourhood forums, agents, landowners, developers, businesses, relevant local interest groups and others to send in details of any sites, land or buildings that could have development potential over the next 15 year period.

At this early stage of the plan making process, the LDNPA are inviting suggestions for any site that may be suitable for the following uses:

  • housing

  • employment (offices, workshops, warehouses)

  • retail and

  • tourism (such as visitor attractions and accommodation).

Individuals and/or landowners can submit their suggestions

  • email: localplan@lakedistrict.gov.uk or

  • post: Strategy and Partnership Team, LDNPA, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL.

  • closing date for submissions is 4:00pm on 2 June 2017.

  • further information is available on the website: call for sites.
