Flood Investigation Report




 Final Flood Report (draft)

The final flood report (draft) from the Environment Agency has been sent to the parish council today (13th September 2017) although it is not yet on the EA's web site. It has been uploaded to this web site and is available in the Documents Page section 13_Floods_docs. Within this section please see a folder Env_Agency which contains the file entitled glenridding_patterdale_final_draft_v1.pdf.

Flood Report Meeting

The meeting to discuss this report which was due to be held on 23rd March will now be held on a date to be decided in October 2017. At some point the EA will upload the final report to their web site at CCC Flood Reports.


Meeting Cancelled.

The meeting due to be held on 23rd March 2017 has been cancelled. A new date is to be advised.

Update on Flood Report

The flood reports for Glenridding and Patterdale will be available in pdf format from the Cumbria County Council web site. At the time of this update the reports are still in progess. For those who wish to read the flood reports before the meeting of the 23 March you could periodically check to see if they have been finalised. The link to check on progess is CCC Flood Reports


Flood Report Meeting

Cumbria County Council as Lead Local Flood Authority will be presenting the final flood investigation report including timescales for the way forward to reduce the risk of flooding in Glenridding and Patterdale on:

Thursday 23rd March 2017 at Glenridding Public Hall 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
